This contract was for section 38 and 104 adoption works. We undertook remedial work to get the road adopted for Tesco. This included drainage remedials and pond clearance works so South West Water could adopt the drainage. Then, we undertook highway remedial works so Devon County Highways would adopt the road which included kerb and beany block replacements, planing & resurfacing approximately 4,000m2 of road and the installation of white lining.

ICivils undertook remedial works below ground and resurfacing for a Tesco development over a 9 month programme. Their communication with the commercial tenants on site prevented delays to the works, and in turn unlocked a long-standing highways adoption. ICivils dealt with some unknown items swiftly and efficiently. The quality of workmanship resulted in the roads being adopted without any delay following inspection by Highways. As a result of the ‘can-do’ approach to this scheme they are now pricing works elsewhere for us.
